I called at 8:00 this morning and got thru on my 3rd try, the rep was very helpful, she re applied for me and realeased my pending funds, I would call in, I know it's not easy this was day 3 of dialing all day, but if you get the right rep, it's way faster

Update. My friend has constantly been calling since 8AM this morning. EDD answered after several attempts like two hours and then she
just transferred the call back to the original computer answer and it ended of course with answer. Went back dialing again and after 48 minutes was answered by an EDD and then proceeded to tell my friend same answer to transfer said call but the call went back again to that original computer answering machine. OMG! They answer but they don’t answer EDD just keeps on going around and around even if they answer they just put you on hold and NOBODY ANDWERS even if they answer! TOTAL FAILURE! let’s change it when we vote guys!

With President Joe Biden's recent "warnings to unemployment claimants who are refusing to return to work, or accept offers of low-paying jobs"...My question to the 46th president of the USA is: Are UI Benefits- A "Right" or "Privilege"???
(Especially, when we're the ones "employees" who are paying into this unemployment insurance, thru payroll on our jobs)!!!!

The way they are treating us is just disgusting!!! I’m 72 been working my whole life since I was 16 only once before on edd for a few months!!! We paid into this I’m just venting. What are people doing who have families how are they eating and paying rent!!! No wonder we have so many homeless just disgusting!!!

I have not been paid since 4/8 I certify every 2 weeks
I am pending
I have been calling everyday since then everyday all hours I can’t get thru can’t get a phone interview I text them
They said they would answer me in 3-5 days that was 4/15 I still haven’t heard from them

Try 6 weeks!! My credit score went down 37 points. I can't even get a loan to subsidize my bills. You are right, we should earn interest. I don't understand why they can't keep paying until they can set an interview. I have available wages and my UI have not ended.

I agree that for overpayment is only 2_-3 days and they are on it.... they old me 9 weeks.

Straight up it looks like a scam if you can't see that right off the bat. 2 years ago I had a relative send money to a rich uncle in Nigeria. I'm her brother last I checked my uncle Nigeria is not rich

Edd does not even answer the phone. Was approved PUA Cares Act was paid my first payment then second one is pending. No answer, hang up. Now Edd tells news they have a call back system instead of waiting. There is no waiting they recording hangs up on you. Lol. I have identified myself 4 times and also through identify me. So I was told I would never have to identify myself again. Pending

I would just like to know if those "10 days" is equivalent to "business" days or "dog days"...lol...i had my phone interview on May 3rd. Today is May 12th...I'll get back to you guys tomorrow...since i will be hitting my 10th day tomorrow! Good luck everyone. Stay strong.
