I'm bummed that they aren't putting the 5.7L V8 in the Gladiator.

Release is starting to cut it close to the next model design. Guess they will push that out, too.

My new battery is doing great and I still love my jeep even though there's been some recalls and other issues along the way. Hope to do my new battery mileage check soon.

Good news! I have holding off on modding my Gladiator in hopes of the 4xe coming out. BUT, I can't help but wonder if that 5.7 eventually sneaks in the Gladiator as well. Then, I'd be really torn of what to choose. Would not be a bad problem to have though.

Ehhh. Its a tough call for me, i really want a 5.7 hemi in my Mojave, one can dream lol.

For me though, this powertrain makes sense as I live 5km from work. I could theoretically drive on electric all 4 of my days to and from work. I would personally save a decent amount of fuel, especially in winter where i lose about 20% fuel economy.

My 2021 71k miles 4xe is epa rated at 21 miles electric. I consistently get 27-30 miles of EV driving. On 35s. So I wouldldt be surprised if people will see 37+ miles of EV range. Im excited to see these hit the road.

i wonder if the 2.0L turbo engine is gonna be avaliable as an engine choice even in the non 4xe models too in that year

Figures I just traded my Gladiator Mojave for a F150 lightning lol. I thought the gladiator 4XE was getting cancelled.

It's actually an increase of HP to 215.. an 81 HP jump according to the article. Pretty excited about the 4xe Gladiator finally coming. I'll do my own little video on this tomorrow morning. I'll be a little late to the party.

4xe is trash they haven’t even perfected the wrangler 4xe they need to worry about that then move into perfecting it
