Here is our version of 'Sweet Sixteen', originally written many moons ago in 1898 by James Thornton.
This song is incredibly nostalgic for a lot of Irish households ever since the great Finbar Furey adapted it in 1981 and created what is now regarded as one of the truly classic Irish ballads of our time.

Onóir recorded this music video in the famous Forge Bar in Donegal Town and we would like to extend our most sincere thanks to The Sweeney Family for letting us take over their legendary pub for the evening 💚.

Now THAT is the VERY BEST rendition of that song I have EVER heard. The pure rawness of Tom McHugh's voice (and I don't mean that in a bad way) gives the words even more meaning.
