Explanation : Ambush is simillar to rush, he goes to the door, realizes it's a vent room(You're welcome that 1 person). and goes back, ambush goes forward and back 2-6 times. so that's how you got him 16 times.

You know what would be fun?

To make Ambush appear (100%) if you stay AFK for one minute in any room. Like in Spooky's Jumpscare Mansion, if you stay afk for maybe 2 minutes in room 10-1000, Specimen 9 will hunt you down.

Since Doors is also inspired by Spooky.

I reccomend stepping back when entering a vent because Ambush might see you

It was a actually 12 times, sure, he came four times before doing the "rest" but if you count all of them including the non rest periods it's still 12

Theory: Rush was jealous that Ambush could go back and forth, being so powerful. Because of this logic, Rush generated a vent room so the players can escape from Ambush making him look weak.

thats why u sometimes see rush go there and back because the next room is a vent room

Believe it or not ambush can come as early as door 5, it’s a little more rare for him to come early but no one said he couldn’t! but the higher doors you get, the more of a chance ambush could come, but don’t expect him to come every run cause you can go a run and he can not come at all, hope this helps!
