Gris is a hopeful young girl lost in her own world, dealing with a painful experience in her life. Her journey through sorrow is manifested in her dress, which grants new abilities to better navigate her faded reality. The Piano melody at the end 2:08 of this theme is absolutely brilliant. It's one of the most beautiful moments from any piece of music that I know. It's not about the complexity in fact it's one of the most common chord movements that exist but the way it is voiced... the sound, the context, the articulation just evokes such raw emotion and the silence right before... it's simply the perfect answer to everything that happenend before! I wish I could take this precious moment and just keep it safe and hidden so nothing could compromise. I'm done, screw my words, this is just perfection!
