this was helpful to find my issue. as a result: check if the solid white pieces (that look like piano keys) in the front are straight and even and have not gotten stuck underneath the teeth of the wheel. mine got stuck and you could tell it was bent under one of the "teeth" on the icemaker wheel inside preventing the wheel from turning. you could hear the gears trying to turn but it couldn't move the wheel. if you put your fingers on it you can feel the movement and how it is stuck. the lever would also not fully come out until that piece that got stuck was free.

Great video! Some of these also will go into the test mode Pull the rake arm forward. The further it is pulled forward, the shorter the initial cycle time Normal cycle time is 3 minutes Pulling the rake arm completely forward reduces cycle time to 1.5 minutes (from 9:00 to 3:00)

Note to self: The paddle can be hit three times when in the On position to speed up the ice making process presumably for a cycle.
