Swipe in for hamburger menu still works.. you just have to swipe at a slight angle in then menu pops but straight in is back friendly tip since no one seems to know this yet 😊

Gray background do actually improve backgrounds still. I think Google posted a comparison a while back showing how it still is much better than white backgrounds.

I do prefer gray backgrounds tbh. Its a bit more easier on the eyes than complete black

+androidauthority you swipe up at an angle from the edge rather than straight across it opens in-app side bar menus rather than the back gesture on the new navigation gestures.

OnePlus 6 have best gesture control very smooth & fast. Also great thing is it doesn't bother while gaming. I usually use to disable full screen gesture while gaming not anymore.

Turn down the volume level to zero and watch his hands move. Doing so will get you hypnotize

Darkgray ALSO gives you battery saving. Less than completely black would but it still draws less power on oled displays

Installed it on my 2 XL; love the gestures. I came from an iPhone X and I really missed the gestures. Apart from needing polishing, I love them.

Just got the Q Beta 3. Full gestures are super responsive it's fun to use. Back swipe is a gamechanger for Android in general. Dark mode is a nice touch, now my chat notifications won't blast my face at night while watching videos. Thanks Googs
