I have this with Hobbywing 8s ESC with wireless module. The set was around 400euro. I used for electric bike with 3600w 250kv motor and 18:1 ratio planetary gear. My top speed is was 87km/h. My weight is 76kg the bike waa around 15-20 kg.

Must be sensorless... you can notice the motor cog or "phase" for just a second when he applied throttle by the way the wheel moved when it started spinning. Pulling timing out of the motor probably helps. I have an Onisiki motor and a quicrun esc on my MST RMX/RRX 2.5 RS and Onisiki servo/gyro. I been wanting to add the sensor cable since its capable, but i havent had time to look through junk electronics for one
