She'd lived in lran for a while for work, and she says she moved bk home just at the right time, when Ayatollah took over from the Shah of Iran, which instantly put the country back to the dark ages. Movie is not without my daughter. The husband slowly makes her act more and more like Iranian women. Makes her shower less(bc they consider showering to only be done when they have sex) and wear (?)hijab(?) And starts treating her badly. He then tells her they arent there on vacation and they are staying. She tries to leave several times and they finally get her out.
