It's time to get those pages stitched in to your cover using a 5 stitch pamphlet stitch! Woo hoo! This is so fun and fulfilling. You'll just need a stack of paper folded into a signature, a cover, an awl, and some string.

I want to let you know that as a number-averse person you have made this doable for me. Thank you so very much, I don’t have to measure!

It's February 2025 and I am very new to jj...so thankful for you and this video. The few times I've sewn in signatures I always consult this video and feel like we are having so much fun together as I do this part of the project. Thank you!

Using an opened envelope as the center page to hide the binding is genius!!!! Tysm for the great idea!

You have made it so easy to understand…it’s the ‘fear factor’ of sewing in all those precious works of art.

Loved how you taught this lesson, as a beginner it was very helpful and I like this stich as it looks neat. I subbed, liked, alarmed and now commented.

Thank you so much for this video. I'm putting together my very first altered book journal and have been so scared to bind it. Listening to you talking about how much fun this part is helped calm my fear, and I'm making my templet and feeling more confident about this part of the process.❤

It is very soothing watching you sew in signatures, more calming if it were signatures into my journal you were sewing, lol. 😂

Super helpful and accurate. The hardest bit for me is the order of stitching so l did it along with you, thanks again, Josée UK

This was an excellent tutorial! I enjoyed your enthusiasm for sewing in signatures - so many videos tout being "no-sew, " and while those journals have their place, I knew I wanted to sew in my pages. I love to sew and do very little hand sewing, so I liked getting out my needle and thread and adding a special touch to my very first journal. You have a talent for teaching & I'll be going through your other tutorials as I continue junk journaling!
