M8 still sounds cooler... I'm not anti electric car I'm just not for it in a fun car. The sound of a car is %50 of the fun.

Expected given the specs. I have a tuned M5, no other mods and have had the pleasure of racing a Taycan. He was ahead till about 30 and it was dead even from there. A tuned M8 will do a tiny bit better than the M5 IMO. The Taycan is a fantastic car though, so much better than the Model S I drove.

After watching the Taycan, I’ve realized it’s the only performance EV right now that has the top end to hold off fast cars. Tesla’s are right there with it at the start and it just pulls at the end.

Cant fuck with the Taycan in the 1/4 mile, but the roll race ? the M8 sounded like it had to shift and it was at low revs as well of course it will lose ? would've been better to pre select the right gear and rev range for more accurate results

You should have put the M8 in 3th gear in the 100-200. Now it had to charges gears. It actually just as fast or even faster 100-200 than taycan.

I just enjoyed watching bothcars launch atthe exact same moment. Rarely see such accuracy, these days.
Unlike the Tesla, there is no letting up .... in the Taycan's rate of acceleration.
