Thanks for the explanation of the garmin formula 👍 I loaded a route on my 1030 plus and my mate had the same route on his karoo hammerhead. Mine showed 2 climbs and his had 6 !! Tbf there was some tricky climbs and I was wondering why they didn't show up. This video was really helpful. Kudos

Awesome vid, but you need to drop the db level on the music by 10db or so because it overpowers your voice level. so we're always with the finger on the volume level to adjust it so we don't blown away the others in the room..

One question, why elevation profile datafield doesn't display the upcoming elevation after starting an activity? Besides, elevation profile under map datafield doesn't appear.
Kinda odd bugs that are annoying me...

I had Edge 130 Plus before and now I have Edge 530. I rode the same course and 130 Plus detected climbing via ClimbPRO feature but Edge 530 didnt. It is really strange..

Another excellent video, thankyou. I really like this function and you have confirmed a few things to me such as the need to upload a course first. I used this function last weekend on Pru Ride London and it came up with 4 climbs and was really helpful, even though I have ridden this sportive 4 times before. I have been trying to explain all this to a few people and this sums it up extremely well. One question - what does the blue moving bar along the bottom signify?

Thanks for the video and the explanation! I just have one question: the average grade in % changes while climbing the hill (At the beginning of the climb @minute 3:55 it showed 4% and for example @minute 5:26 it showed 12%). So that means that the average grade shown on the display is always referred to the remaining distance/climb/grade right?
I first thought it is the average grade of the total climb. But that doesn't make any sense since it is changing its value :D

How to disable climb pro? in a course and when following a course? It interpheres when following a course all the time and takes up half screen showing eleventation and hiding data from the other data fields? thanks

I have climbPro and elevation on and both DONT show. My former Garmin did so automatically. I can not figure out what is wrong AND customerservice can't either....
