I've heard people make that or similar arguments too often, it's really frustrating.
Literally every time you eat beans you soak them and then cook them. Or you simply buy them pre-soaked (and possibly pre-cooked) so the problems these people mention are completely irrelevant in a real world scenario.

Yeah sure I'm forgetting but if I remember correctly you don't eat raw meat as well, actually meat it's maybe the only thing you HAVE TO cook before eating.
