Imagine all the photos Peter had done that day. And he remembered this little boy. That's am impressive memory, but also, had to have meant a lot to the boy. The fact that Peter remembered him set him at ease and gave him the confidence to ask his question. I'm going to miss Twelve.

Omg this is my son asking the question. I am forever grateful for them helping him get through that tough moment. We met him again after for an autograph and he is absolutely amazing and kind. Pearl too. My son will never forget that day. K9 was the best answer also. :) thank you for sharing!

Twelve and K-9 would have been brilliant together! Moffat was actually going to bring him back in the Christmas Special *Last Christmas* he says there was a scene that he wrote when Santa was demonstrating the danger of the Dream Crabs by having them analysed by Rudolph’s nose and the Doctor says, _“Can’t you see how stupid this is?”_ .. Then K-9 enters the room and says, _“I could analyse that Master.”_ Then the Doctor replies, _“K-9, not now! Go away. Go away. Leave me alone.”_ and K-9 goes back in to the TARDIS! Apparently there wasn't enough time in the episode so they couldn't add it!

Just incredible how he came to the little fan's rescue and helped them when they were nervous. Incredibly wonderful man!

This is one of the reasons Peter is my favourite Doctor of NuWho. He is so intractable and memorable with his fans. I met him earlier this year, and he liked my Ghost cosplay(from Return Of Doctor Mysterio) when I got him to sign my Twelve figurine box. Didn't recognise it, but liked it nonetheless! Then when I had my photo op with him, like 4-5 hours later, he remembered me! "Here he is!" were his exact words when I walked in to the booth (Bear in mind I'd also taken the mask off by then as it was getting hot).
