Hey what's the fastest way to switch from CCU to the phone and have the Stadia controller sync without Stadia trying to launch again on the TV? Just unplug the Chromecast power source mid game, then open app on phone?

Every time I hit "shut down Stadia" on CCU (not exit game) and then open the app on my phone, the game launches fine, but the controller icon is grayed out. I can't get the option to pair the controller with phone to come up.
