The Mother of All Demos, presented by Douglas Engelbart (1968) [HD 720p 2020 reupload]

The versions available on youtube or Stanford's own website were all 360p or lower, making it difficult to make out the words Engelbart was typing. Luckily I found the original DVDs they were ripped from and re-uploaded the three-part series as one whole clip with minimal processing. No enhancements were made, not even de-interlacing. It was uploaded at 720p instead of its native 480p to offset youtube's own compression. You can find the original DVD video images on the archive org website. It'd be nice to clean up the film grain and artifacts off the footage, and ai upscale it.

The reverb from the auditorium affecting his voice gives this voice narration a strangeness that aligns with science fiction aesthetics...This contradicts the obvious fact that this is a historical recording..
