Can we win it? Of course.
Will we win it? No.

Do people realise when we play the top nations in major tournaments we ALWAYS seem to lose.. If we reach the knockout stage, we’ve gotta beat 3/4 top teams consecutively!

To put things into perspective…

Since 2002 World Cup.. England have played either France, Italy, Spain, Germany or Portugal a total of 9 times… We have won only ONCE out of 9 TIMES!

1 win in 9 games against these top Euro nations…

Somehow we’re now going to beat 3 or 4 of them in a row…

Highly unlikely. I hope I’m completely wrong but history tells us, we aren’t winning.

These players don’t typically perform to their usual standards for England. Club level they’re world class players but for England it never seems to happen.

England's lack of proper defense will need them to focus more on scoring lots of goals.
Try to be more attack minded. But that could also see them losing to teams that are good on the counter.

Say a team were to have a world class defence and an average keeper who had to do little but he also had the most clean sheets at the end of the tournament because of his back line. Does it make sense to give him the golden glove for doing nothing? Or to give it to the man who had the most saves all tournament?

My solution would be to divide the number of saves by number of clean sheets.
