I watched this vid 5yrs ago and decided to buy the Squall Stadium coat as a result. Every winter since, I spend months telling people how it's literally the best thing I have ever purchased. Ever. I LOVE this coat. I've never been so cozy. Most days I don't even need layers it's that good.

Both of these are rated with our "warmest" moniker. Meaning they will keep you warm during those cold east coast winters. The Parka has more pockets and is quite a bit longer. While the Jacket has one side that is waterproof, windproof, breathable with sealed seams to keep out rain, snow, sleet. Have you read the reviews at all?

Thank you for the feedback. We will pass a request along to our Design Team regarding the hoods on our outerwear.

I am in NYC and am torn between Insulted Squall Parka and Reversible Squall Jacket... will really appreciate if anyone can help me decide upon this..

I have a Squall Parka and absolutely hate taking it off! I wear it almost constantly. The hood is not nearly as good as the older Squall Parka, but overall, my new Squall Parka is the best jacket I have ever had. It keeps me comfortable with just a t-shirt underneath down into the 20's, plus it keeps most of the rain/snow off. I only wish it had the same older type hood, and snaps instead of velcro.

I have a Classic Squall Jacket and Squall Parka and love them both. Both have the quality, functionality, and versatility at a fair price that equal the value I learned to expect from Lands' End forty years ago. I might get another Classic Squall in another color, and score a Hooded Squall Jacket and a Lightweight Squall Jacket to run the table. Then I can sell or donate all my other outerwear and still be prepared for any weather, any where, looking sharp all the while.
