Been wearing the Lands End leather low chukka boots for a while and have to say they are the most comfortable boot I've ever bought in my life. Im using them this winter with rubbers on them for waterproofing. What would happen if I push this farther and use a plastic bag over the boots, then cover with the rubbers and rubber band the plastic bag up my leg for deep snow?
