Sir;
I appreciate your help to explain these terminologies, but the part that is talking about the Direction Vector is still not clear to me!
Is the Direction Vector represented by all the (Red Line) on the diagram, or just a partial of it? And what is the different between Direction Vector and the Position Vector? because both these lines are started from origin point (0, 0)?
I hope your help with this matter?
Thanks and respectfully

Why we take magnitude of a over a in direction cosine.. why not the vector a itself

anil can you please help with this question.
A tank, T, is 5 km southeast of a gun emplacement, G. A ground support
aircraft, A, is 20◦

south of west with respect to G and the line of sight
distance between G and A is 10 km. At G, the elevation angle of A is
measured as 15◦

. Introduce a right-handed, orthogonal reference system,

Gxyz, with the origin at G and with the positive x-axis (respectively, y-
axis), representing east (resp., north), then answer the following questions:

(a) Determine the x-, y- and z-co-ordinates of T as well as A.
(b) Determine the distance between T and A.
(c) Calculate the angles which the directed line segment −→T A makes with
the three co-ordinate axes.
Consider the surface of the Earth to be flat.

Hello, Anil. I have not watched this video yet. But I have a question regarding a time, distance and speed problem. Can I ask you a question about that?

Your videos help alot! Thanks.
