Master Chief taking off his helmet is akin to the original Judge Dredd removing his. Literally killed the entire franchise.

For me the major issue with the series as a whole was John not staying in his armor the whole time. Master Chief really himself when the armor on and the chip. Still having a chip inside you is a scary in real life but, when it comes to sci fi it a cruche and this show just bad sci fi TV.

When making a game adaption,
Rule no.1: never butcher the beloved characters of the franchise.
Rule no.2: stick to the plot and lore that is already out there instead of pulling something random from your arse.
Rule no.3: Never ever ever take a helmet off to make a face reveal in the literal 1st episode.

oh wait, its seems Paramount+ already broke the 3 rules since they think they know better or just wanted to slap the Halo name there thinking that the TV series will get famous just like that.

The most annoying thing to me is the missing characters Sargent Johnson should be in the show and instead of creating silver team they should of just stayed with johns team blue team

The only moments where this show even felt remotely like Halo, was whenever there was a full out fire fight between Spartans, Marines, and The Covenant, which only like happened three times throughout the whole season. And when it comes to the casting and characters, I feel like the only good casting they got right was Natascha McElhone as Halsey.

Can't believe what they did to Halo. It was all given on a silver platter, it should have been impossible to fuck it up. They character assassinated ALL literally ALL the characters from the lore. ridiculous.

This series is an example why Videogame adaptation will almost never work. The people involved don't care about the original material and fans, they look down on gaming, they don't consider it a form of art.
Stuff like Sonic, Detective Pikachu and Castlevania are one in a million.
Videogame don't need Hollywood adaptation to reach a new audience.
