Verry possible that there are not many engineers left in HP but just mainly marketing and lawyers. Frankly, this thing looks like just randomly gathered parts in a prefab case (no custom solutions). And those Engineers who are still left there are working their asses off to release as many products as possible in a short period of time, while this thing needs months and months of preparation. They won't bear Apple, because apple is releasing few products per year and are putting adequate time into each of them.

Seems to me HP has been pretty successful at copying Apple here. The only problem being that they copied the thinking behind the i9 MacBook Pro instead of the Mac Studio

I love corporate HP PCs. 
They run forever.. at my previous work, I've upgrade many HP elitedesk PCs that where still running Windows 7 enterprise, with the original install. At 16 hours a day, and this was last year (!)

6:30: When you state, that render times increased x %, this but be calculated from the number it increases from that is the baseline, here the HP Z2. This means the the actual increase is not 20-50% but 25, 3 % and 150 %. The numbers you state is the HP Z2 performance compared to the "Bench"...

HP has a real thing for taking power and thermal management and turning it into a purely locked in profile, with an app or UI of pure theater to insult you into thinking anything is changing. I found out the Windows 10 power profile functionality is more neutered than a steer on my laptops, thanks to HP's configurations right down to the board firmware.

Why is multi-gig lan such an important thing for Linus? Not every workflow requires streaming 8k footage from a central server.
