SLIPKNOT ON ACOUSTIC GUITAR (Before I Forget) - Luca Stricagnoli

DESCRIPTION
How does Slipknot sound on Acoustic Guitar? This video is my answer to this question. I first listened to “Before I Forget” many years ago, and I loved the song right away. Now, after quite some time, I heard it again and figured it`s time to arrange it for Fingerstyle guitar. My wife Meg and I had the idea of hanging some of Slipknot`s iconic masks in a black room and play in the middle of them. We bought them online at the last minute and we couldn`t get our hands on all of them, but we are still happy. There is no particular message regarding which mask we used and which we didn`t use…the masks all look cool, and this is what we managed to gather. Only a musician really gets what this guy's doing... the human MIDI. Playing almost all instruments and vocals of a song at once on one instrument. In other words 4 brains in one. It is impressive. Ever since the first time I saw you bro.. it's fun to watch

I believe what makes Luca so compelling is that he's not just "pure acrobatics". He really takes the time to put effort into the musicality of the arrangement, creating some of the most technical yet ear-pleasing music the acoustic guitar platform has to offer.
