▶️ Guinea’s Interim President Mamady Doumbouya Arrives at UN

Guinea’s junta-appointed President Mamady Doumbouya arrived at the United Nations on Thursday ahead of his address to the 78th session of the U.N. General Assembly.

The U.N. General Debate which began Tuesday is currently underway in New York.

I'm African, a proud Nigerian. But I like to embrace truth to set me free. While I appreciate the show of force, plenty of men around him, and the regal white attire, it's NOT really power. The real power is when we produce what we consume as Africans. Many of us are deluded to believe the Westerners are afraid or intimidated by this confident walk, talk... and talk of African leaders. They're not. Let's be clear: Our very existence depends on marine biology, Quatum physics, advanced medical research, avionics, etc. At this stage of our existence, we can't breathe without the West or Russia or China. We need to focus on research and production. Let's not get carried away. We can't even launch a rocket to deleiver a satellite into orbit. But we feed on satellite info daily with our phones and Tvs. We're powerless at the moment. I'm, however, still a proud African. I'm just more realistic than many others.
