ECOWAS HAS NO MORAL OBLIGATION TO TELL WHAT SHOULD HAPPEN IN GUINEA

Given the rocky history the French had with Guinea, right from independence and with Sekou Toure, this is the clearest signal that the French are back in Guinean affairs. They are right there in his bedroom, on his pillows, as well as in his head. I understand his taking power, because of that badass 83 years old man Conde changing the constitution to go for a third term and probably removing term limits, this man Doumbouya shouldn’t be tolerated much long either. He should return the country to civilian rule within one year. And he shouldn’t be a contestant in the next elections. We have seen that game before, Jerry Rawlings did same thing in Ghana, and stayed for frigging 19 years as head of state. These military men are not good administrators and do not see themselves as accountable to civilians.

It's a coup in Guinea NOT Sudan. What's happened to quality control?

I think Joseph Kabila is younger than both of them when he became the president of DRC.

Doumbouya a criminal himself. Prior to all this coup drama this man was hand picked by Alpha Conde himself to create and head a unit in the military and call it an anti-terrorism one at the advice of the former Chadian despot Idris Debbie. Having established this unit the president then decided to convert it into a special forces unit of the military. Eventually Doumbouya who was a very close confidante of the president (by the way they even come from the same village in eastern Guinea) was given instructions to use this unit to protect the president and crash political opposition. Thus through this eventually notorious unit, Doumbouya arrested, imprisoned, tortured and killed his own people in the opposition to Conde's politics; activities sanctioned by the then president Conde. But in the mean time trouble was brewing from "the hero's" problematic military service past.Due to the imminent & inevitable European union & IHRW sanctions that were soon be slapped on him for whatever grievances they had with him, Doumbouya ACTED QUICKLY AND STAGED A COUP JUST TO SAVE HIS PERSON, CAREER AND FUTURE. His position as a special branch forces came in handy as it was very strategically enabling plus he also exploited his people's wide spread popular political disenchantment and desperation. So THERE'S NOTHING LIKE A COUP IN HIS PEOPLE'S INTERESTS . This is a classic case OF THE BIRTH OF YET ANOTHER AFRICAN TYRANT. SO THERE'S IS NOTHING HEROIC HERE ABOUT THIS SCHEMING POTENTIALLLY DANGEROUS DICTATOR. TO CALL THIS ROGUE OFFICER A HERO IS EITHER YOU ARE IGNORANT OF THE DISCUSSED FACTS AND AFRICAN DICTATORSHIP 'S HISTORY OR YOU ARE NAIVE.Just wait and see. The heroism praises seem to be misplaced. And am not in any way condoning the civilian despot rulers at all. They are basically the architects of the birth of these evil monsters.
