How well can you do with pdf books on it ? And please don't give me that, ,bigger screen is better" stuff. Everyone knows about it. I just want something cheap and good enough at the same time to cope with some pdf books I have and need to read. IPhones or PC screens don't cut it for me. Too much color and distraction

I got it yesterday. I also got a Paperwhite along with it. The Paperwhite is great. But I liked how light and small the basic is! And the sunken screen with 300ppi resolution oh man! It's just perfect!

I'm getting it just for the small form factor. Its crappy that they didn't include the warm light feature though.

I have and love my new Paperwhite, but I do like that the basic is finally getting nice upgrades... main thing for me... that color. Would love more color options across the Kindle lineup other than black.

Why did amazon decide rapid-page turn is only useful for manga?

The power button position really annoys me. I keep accidentally pushing mine when reading because the bottom of the Kindle is resting on my fingers.

I’m crazy but I’m actually going to get this and trade in my paper white I got early this year. I love the light form factor too and size. I love reading Manga too so I know this will still work for me! Plus 16GBs too?! Sold!❤

I'm actually really tempted to get this instead of the new Paperwhite, that denim color gets me so hard! The problem for me is the sunken screen I personally hate because gets dirty so easily and the lack of warm light.
I'm currently with the 2018 PPW, and wondering about the upgrade.

Seems like a decent competitor for the Kobo Clara 2e. Why in the world do they put the power button on the bottom still though, literally the worst place.
