Intro Flight With Jean in The Sling TSi

This week, watch as Co-Owner and legend Jean D’Assonville takes Pedro for a Intro flight in the Sling TSi (with Matthew in the back to manage cameras). They took off, had some fun flying around the practice area, and then landed back at Torrance Airport (KTOA). Stay tuned to see the TSi perform and hear all of Pedro’s questions and reactions to his first flight in a Sling.

My son Diego and I flew the Sling TSi with Jean a week ago (March 16th) and we had a complete blast...! The plane is absolutely fantastic...! Both Jean and Wayne are awesome cool guys and so are the rest of the people we met on that day. Thanks for the tour of the facilities and the discovery flight. We'll see what Diego decides to do...!

The best experience in my life was to pilot a SLING TSI with John

He is a wonderful person and a spectacular pilot

It was the best moment of my pilot life

I can’t wait to become a professional pilot and buy a sling because for me is the best single engine plane in the world

And I hope one day they will do a multi engine.

Its been a little over 3 years and I have yet to find the secret switch, that disconnects the “easy landing feature”. I know it’s hidden somewhere and Jean wouldn’t tell me. Seriously, the SLING 2, 4, and TSi’s are the sweetest planes to fly and especially to land.

Had the pleasure of flying with Jean in 981RW last month…he’s such a cool dude with a contagious love for the Sling and being in the air! What an awesome experience to meet Barry and Matt, get some air time with Jean, and get a firsthand look at all that’s going with the pilot academy, build center, and sales department. Can’t wait to get started on my new TSi later this year 🤞🏽!!!

So how does one get a career out of this? How much flight experience do they need to get to become a commerical pilot or is it only for freelance pilots? Does one need to buy a sling plane? What beefits does a student pilot get with this flight program?
