By 2019 Muhammad Ali Sadpara had lost 12 of his 14 colleagues in the mountaineering business. But this would certainly not stop him from going on to conquer multiple eight thousander peaks. Originally from Pakistan, Ali Sadpara was quite literally born into a mountaineering family. The art would be passed down from generation to generation, and in 2021, Ali, along with his own son Sajid Ali Sadpara, would be attempting to achieve a winter summit of K2. This is their story

I’ve noticed that every time I make the decision not to climb K2 or Everest, I survive the experience.

Most people don't understand this risk taking. They don't do it for the views, they don't do it to be called chad by their people, they do it mostly because it's in them. In our daily life, daily work matters the most and takes up most of our spirit. We say "life is precious"... But it really becomes precious when you find the thing that really makes you thrill (just me saying). In this case, whats most enjoyable in life to them is climbing these giant mountains, and the risk is part of the thrill they enjoy. I dont feel bad for this man, he lived a life that could have been longer if he didnt do these climbs, but he lived to the fullest according to him.

Everest is the highest, K2 is the most unforgiving.

The most thrill I seek is Going Out on my kayak in the dark, In a docile bay in our backyard. Maybe twenty five feet out and then i'm back 😅

It's the risk you take, this is not first time and won't be the last.

Mountaineering can be a dangerous pursuit, in the most ideal conditions, on small mountains. With mountains like K2 it is life-threateningly dangerous just to get to base camp.

He must’ve thought himself unlucky when the air tank sprung a leak.

A quote I saw recently.

Every dead body on Everest was once a highly motivated and driven person. So why don’t you just chill a little?

Of course Nims made it first lol. He's a fukin legend, just saw him on The Wonton Don taking Donnie and his crew to Everest Basecamp. Just getting to Basecamp is a goal in itself and also require permits.

The mountain has a tendency to make people ever so slightly incompatible with the newest life patch

We're not talking about crochet here...
This is mountain climbing. an inherently dangerous sport... With really harsh penaltys.

K2 actively tries to you kill. The vibe is not a good one going up or down down.

As the facts state. From every 7 people who summit k2, 1 doesn’t return.

Disgusting. His children viewing last footage of their father of humanity actually walking over his dead body, all to get cheap thrills and cheap applause on media.
