Review - Galaxy on Fire 2 Full HD

In this review, I take a look at the PC version of the space combat/trading mobile game, Galaxy on Fire 2.

I remember putting about 40 hours into the first one on my iPhone 4 back when it was released.
It reminded me of the two classics, Freelancer and Tachyon: The Fringe

I guess for PC this isn't really HD. But if you played it on the IPhone then you'd see that the transition from Galaxy on Fire 2 to Galaxy on Fire 2 HD felt like it became HD. Plus now there's Galaxy on fire HD which feels like an HD remake of the original that looks look really bad now but decent back then.

I actually love this game lol. Maybe it's nostalgia, but I think it's fun even if it's a really simple game story wise and such...

This game was amazing on it's origin platform - Java. Yes normal flip phones, and it's pretty much identical to pc port (i mean java version doesn't have add-ons), like 97% of code of the java game is identical to pc port. Only features missing from java are ability to strafe, and to change speed (boosts still exist), and you can't destroy pirate station but this was i guess only in one mission on pc port. And it plays amazingly, it's perfect for java.
