Coffee Break Sessions (CBS) is the new format that I will be posting in this channel. Compare to the previous an hour long episodes; new format will be around 30 minutes, but I will try my best to post it more often -like once in 2 weeks. This 4th episode is Brazilian Grooves! After the previous Brazilian episode got blocked, I've been wanting to do a new one. In this 30 mins long set, I played some new records as well as some tunes that I played on the previous episode that haven't been flagged due to copyright. Hope you enjoy.

Most of these songs are unknown or long forgoten here. The black soul/samba rock movement was polemic at time cause has brought a lot of n.americans elements to brazilian music. But the samba groove was so evident that the critics were soon shutted, althought they were important people from the roots of modern samba (candeia, nelson cavaquinho e etc). Thank you, hope they dont strike this again. Such an awesome work that i must say thank you

Born in Istanbul, Turkey, live in The Netherlands, citizen of both countries and many Brazilian friends around me. I see many similarities between Turkey and Brazil even we are in different part of the world. I see the same vibe in old Brazilian and Turkish music. Both full with emotions, groovy and fun. Love the culture and the people of Brazil. Japanese, Brazilian, Turkish and Italian vinyl are just gem.

Brazil has such a rich music history only paralleled by the US and maybe the UK. It really is incredible what you guys have brought forth, every track more soulful and intricate than the last.

These songs are pure fire! Gorgeous rhythms and slick Brazilian soul that is making me fall in love with Brazil all over again. Thanks for spinning these groovy jams, especially when the current musical climate is lacking in many aspects.
