Arduino Uno used to create an Inverter for a 3-Phase Motor !

preview_player
Показать описание
Arduino Uno programmed to output six PWM signals, to drive a 3 Phase motor.
The 3 phase Inverter Gate driver board was designed with Kicad, and the board was made by JLPCB.
It is a very efficient design, which only takes 0.3amps with a 35v supply input.
The IGBT Transistors run very cool without heatsinks, indicating a very high efficiency with minimal heat dissipation.

Hello @Kash_Patel,
The links in the description do not work, would you please update the links with a working links?
Thanks a lot

Could you share a link to the motor? I'm interested to see all the details about it, the brand, speed/torque, the exact type (I suppose it's an induction motor?) and other technical characteristics about it. Also size and weight.

Good morning!
Your project is perfect, can you share the PCB diagram and the arduino code? I tried to download the link in the description of the video but it asks for a key to access!
Thank you very much!

HI, beautiful project, it needs a lot of experience, to make gate drive properly with minimal losses.
What is the purpous of this big white resistors ?
If I need to drive 200 Amps IGBT modules, are there any pitfalls I have to predict ?

Hi Kash, fantastic project! Last week I started designing the inverter and I have a couple of questions before I want to have the PCB made at JLCPCB.

1. As @optix also mentioned: is the REF ground floating? I see it goes to the center of a potential divider, but is it just a common for scope grounds?

2. In the schematic you used GND and GND1. GND is from the power supply and GND1 comes from the Arduino (terminal). My question is, are these two grounds linked (externally) to each other and thus the same?

3. Last question: Why did you use the BYW56 (avalanche) diodes with the top three drivers/optocouplers but not the bottom three?
