Very nice end result, but the technic is seriously overly complex, stacking the images and then changing the blend mode literally can do more than half the work for you and makes the masking so much easier and also provides smoother transitions between all the images.

To be fairly honest I find the only two useful tools I need to shoot a car in the outdoors are a tripod and a CPL filter. Adding lights really just complicate things and takes more time to setup. I tend to bracket my shots from dark to bright and in photoshop I just layer the photos and brush in what I want and leave out the rest. I can work much quicker without a light and produce stunning images BUT if it works for you, go for it. Lovely photos by the way.

I've light painted cars years ago and really enjoyed it. Been shooting natural light for photos and bringing in lights occasionally for feature car videos. Looking into getting a strobe here soon! Good video to see and kick the ambition in for me!

Technically brilliant, but the final image while OK and proved a point educationally, but didn’t stir my soul. I think there may be a positive point to discuss with this, sometimes the car / object isn’t jaw dropping, and sometimes you’re hamstrung when it comes to locations, so how do you create a great shot, or even a usable shot as a professional
