If I’m walking up to my car in the parking lot with my kids how do I open the passenger doors first to let them in? Do I really need to walk over to the driver side, open it up, then hold down on the open door button until it unlocks the rest of the car then walk back over to the passenger side to let them in? I don’t understand why I can’t unlock the passenger side if I got my phone with me just by walking up to it.

I've been wondering about this for 2 months. That's a poor design to put it as a small icon on the top of the screen. Typically with society used how mobile devices, what shows at the top usually isn't a switch but just a display row of icons. It should be larger and at the bottom. Thank you for sharing this video
