Incomplete argument. The animation shows that the "male" robots are fighting a very dangerous threat. But the system wants to recycle the "female" robots. The one female robot that breaks this loop recruits the other female robots and goes to help the male robots that are barely standing up.

If this is meant to represent females breaking away from not having the same rights as men, I would like to inform that women were actually the leading force against woman's rights back then as well. Many wanted rights, and many fought against rights.
