I voted for Harper twice, convincingly once, and reluctantly twice. Voted for Trudeau and have never regretted a vote more.

Canada has some the highest standards for environmental protection in the world, and pollutes very little on a global scale.

Canada a vast resource rich country with a relatively small population of 35 million, and is of the most educated countries in the world.

Canada should have a debt surplus and have strong industries with families and households growing savings not debt.

We are in a rare and unique position with so much potential. But currently virtue signalling is seen as progress, not actual growth and development.

Oh thank you Justin. I'm so grateful to have my dirty carbon money laundered through your climate action plan. The cheque I receive will surely convince me to vote Liberal for years to come. I will ignore my higher utility bills, fuel costs, and overall cost of living and cherish the refund cheques. I will also ignore the staggering amount of administrative costs to issue these cheques and thank my government for the administrative jobs this process has created.

I heat my home with natural gas because heating it with electricity, the only other option, would cost me 700% more. So unless Justin's new tax is gonna raise NG 700%, it won't change anything, other then I have less money. No, my thermostat will remain set the same, as it's already low.

I drive to work in a gasoline fueled car because there are no other alternatives at any fuel station in my city. If I were to purchase an EV car, I would have no way of recharging it. There is not a single public electric charging station for 40 kms in any direction that I could access. No, I don't live in some backwater area.

Infrastructure and optional fuel alternatives have to be in place before the public can be motivated to change. This is not the case in Ontario, which has the highest electricity rates on the North American continent. Justin doesn't know this because he's ignorant.

This is what results when you elect idiots. So Canada enjoy your dope, and your new tax, because you get what you vote for.

This whole climate change thing is just stupid. Not only does a carbon tax just move our production off shore, but it hurts our jobs, our economy and lets be frank. We live in Canada, a country that drops to -20C in the winter, we live in a cold hell for 4 months of the year or more, we could stand to benefit from a warmer climate.

The governments say electricity is exempt for carbon levy. Unless you have solar, hydro, or windmills then a fossil fuel is required to produce electricity. The power companies will have to pay more for coal, natural gas or oil and therefore increase their rates to offset the increased cost of carbon taxes. I know my power bill has gone up a lot in recent months with no major changes in how I live.

Morally-Pass legislation that will make it unfeasible for polluting companies to operate.
Economically-Give tax breaks or incentives to consumers purchasing “Green” products

And leave my money alone
