MQTT Ultimate Garage Sensor - DIY

This is my Garage Door Sensor that I made to interface with my Home Assistant via MQTT messages. It tells me if both doors are closed, which car is parked in the garage, the temperature and humidity, as well as motion and if the lights are on or off.

Would it be possible to use Tasmota for this instead of your Arduino code? I guess I’m trying to see if there is anything you are doing that is not yet supported by Tasmota. I like the idea of Tasmota trying to support all ESP devices and sensors with the same code. I’m new here so sorry if this is obvious.

This is exactly what I am looking to build. I've got a 2 channel relay (door 1/door 2). I am looking to get two mag switches (door 1 / door 2), a Phantom YoYo || TEMT6000 (photo sensor), a dht22 (temp / humidity), and a Uxcell AM312 (PIR / Motion Sensor).

Not sure which micro controller I am going to use, I have two ESP-01 but I am afraid I wont have enough I/O on it for all the sensors. Then of course tie it all in to my Home Assistant HASSIO setup.

Fantastic, I have external roller shutters on all my windows currently controlled by remote controls. I would like to be able to set schedules based on time of day, weather, and who is home. I assume once they are talking to home assistant, this would all be possible?

Good project. In your garage tab page, I see Main Garage Door Light with just Activate button, how to configure .yaml to make like this, because I find just mqtt switch component? but I need just push button.
