ESP8266 - Garage Door Monitor with Position.

Garage Door Monitor talking to openHAB2 with MQTT.

Using two Magenetic Door Switch (NC - Reed Switch) to the bottom and top of the door, a 10 turn potentiometer connected to the shaft or the door, DHT22 to report temp/humidity and a relay to open/close the door.

Able to know position of the door after a calibration of min/max possition (automatic).

Term are in french on the webpage. They are the status of the door according to the reed switch.
Both ON = Invalid.
Bottom ON, TOP OFF = Closed.
Both OFF = Stopped or moving. We are detecting if the door is stopped or moving with the pot. If moving, we are able to know if it's closing or opening.
Top ON, Bottom OFF = Open.
