Helmut Marko's Brutal Statement AGAINST Sergio Perez

We all know that Helmut Marko loves to talk about how good Red Bull and Max Verstappen are. It’s pretty much all he ever talks about actually and since Red Bull and Max both won a championship this year, he has taken every opportunity to preach their greatness. We get it, your team won, you want to tell everyone how great you are. Toto Wolff did it with Hamilton for years, it’s nothing new, but Helmut has chosen to do it at the expense of Sergio Perez. So what has the Austrian been saying about Perez this time?

You don't insult a driver you want to keep

71 years old, he doesn't have many seasons to go. Is that cruel, I don't thinks so.

Perez really needs to get out of this team . He needs to get as many wins as he can this year and ignore team orders in favour of Verstappen , then get himself in a team who cares about him

Terrible of Ted Bull to treat Perez this way considering how he has helped Max but no surprise as RB have a history of treating their 2nd driver like sht.

It's incredible yo listen to the things this man says, marko, Horner, Bernie, piquet, jos and Coulthard, that's the club

Red Bull is a really toxic environment for anyone but Max .How many good team mates have been put down and criticised while at Red Bull then went on to underperform as their confidence is destroyed . I hope Ricciardo gets to show his quality again in the future . Max really needs challenging

The difference between tyre duration of both cars is abysmal, and started this season in Azerbaijan, curiously after Perez's win in Monaco and the constant pressure from Max's dad. I don't know, but you don't become a tyre destroyer from one race to another, seems very suspicious to me. And its ok, the team has their priorities, but they know they've been testing a lot of things in Perez's car, so why the hell do they criticize him (specially Marco) so much, even when he is been playing his second pilot part so well?

Marko found out earlier than anybody Perez's personality... this is why he did not trust him... and he was right!

Anything Max does, even being a low class, betraying teammate, is wonderful to this old geezer!

Martin Bundle was savage on Christian Horner when he told him he wasn’t good enough to be a F1 driver. With Helmut it’s like having a bunch of cocks and letting them fight to see which on is the best. If it doesn’t survive he kicks it out.

I am a huge fan of Perez with the Red Bull. I am really hoping he has a great season this year to prove his place with the lead team.

I was hoping the best for Perez and RB. But they don't support him. Mercedes and Ferrari got their act together. I think RB will be chasing another win in the coming years.

I understand max is bloody good but if this is true helmut marko really has no respect for perez . I don't think they give perez the credit he deserves .

it's said Kimi was the one who wanted to stay out when it started to rain. When the engine crackle stopped everyone back in the camper with hot chocolate thought Kimi had finally had enough, but he then yelled to get him some more fuel

Come on everyone... Stop simiping. Checo can't match Max and needs to overdrive his car to be even close to him (0.5 sec) per lap..
How much I love Checo but he isn't in the same league as Max. He wasn't brought to RB to be a 1st driver and he did a good job on occasion to be a good 2nd one.
I see him like a Mexican Bottas to be honest.

Oh poor max. He had to stay out in the rain and drive a cart. Soul crushing. It one of the most inspiring stories I've ever heard. He had to stay out in cold. Oh my god!!!!

Boo hoo, it’s not fair!
I’d rather hear the truth and try to improve or be a first-rate wingman than have someone give me an insincere hug! 🙄
Man up!

Marko’s autocratic style will only work during successful times, it makes you wonder what has been written in Max’s contract to adopt such an approach.
When RB starts to struggle he will most likely change his mind regarding a one man team.

More evidence that Sergio won’t make it to the end of his contract and Daniel will become number 2

Cannot take this seriously … cecko is second driver and RB is great for him running in the top (at the end of his f1 carree)taking podiums and wins when the lead driver cant thats just F1 reality like many before them its a hard world
