Brilliant “add more experiences to the brain to expand our ability to predict”-
I think we are here to understand everything

It's been some time since someone resonated with me like she did here. Great knowledge. Thank you!

.. we are social and we are more or less sick so that we are creating more hells than heavens down here, Lex. Thank you for your beautiful attempts at making sense of reality, and reality making. Really, thanks for this channel.

I have forgotten where I have read that but it was said that you can't learn a language until you don't manage to really hear it because at the beginning our ear isn't tuned to properly hear the words spoken by natives.

Oh man the last two months have been rough, and with the renewed lockdown and my work life limited/suspended, I was definitely having an existential crisis mixed with anxiety.

Wow. Much of this rings true for how I live and think, or should I say, predict. I definitely have a new way of looking at the, why of things, now.

It's a solid argument for moral absolutism.

Very cool info. I can follow her logic, but at the end of her points she jumps to full lefty conclusions that I can't connect. Maybe I'm experientially blind haha.

Good video, however with polarization, instability, threats of violence, can’t have empathy when shooting people is normal all the time.

Wow. She's so amazing! As a white male physician, I wish I could overcome "experiencial blindness" like she has. What a load of crap. That's just clever circuitous way of saying "lack of empathy". She is full of that smug condescension that comes with succumbing to third person fallacy, the ability to sidestep a human short coming in all of us simply by describing it. In other words, if I can describe it, then I'm not susceptible to it. Be butter.

It seems to me that what she’s really trying to say is that feeling and expressing compassion is important and a valuable part of humanity. Hmmmm... who else said the same? 🤔

If being a cop is too hard quit. They are not being forced to be cops. Exercise free will and put themselves in a safer less chaotic environment.
