Evidence for God: Ep 18. Athiest vs Christian descendants

If God is real, then there should be observable consequences of sin, both for us and our descendants who we teach our values to. A famous study by Albert Winship shows this clearly, focusing on two men. Max Jukes, from New York, was an athiest who created the Freedom Movement that preached free sex, no laws, no formal education and no responsibilities. Jonathan Edwards, who also lived in New York around the same time, was a Puritan preacher who attended Yale and became president of Princeton College and was known for his self-discipline and kindness. Both men fathered 13 children, but their legacies were very different. The Jukes family was originally studied by sociologist Richard L. Dundale in 1877 after 43 prisoners in New York jails could be traced back to his family tree.

That is about the most ridiculous argument I've ever heard. You chose those men because of their descendants but everyone knows that scoundrels populate all levels of society but mostly the poor are condemned for it.

This is not evidence for god, this is evidence that different people live different lives. Also how do you know this was God's doing? And how do you know it's your God? Just doesn't add up.

Also the source in the description is only about the biography of Jonathan Edwards. Nothing mentioning Max Jukes. Having this kind of argument is misleading, because from the start the postulate is made that god exist and then use it to prove the existence of God. It a self told prophecy that has no rational basis.
