Here are 7 tips for those that want to begin this beautiful journey of photography. These tips are guidelines for best practices that will help you stay focused in time:
1. don't mistake expensive gear with quality photos
2. don't mistake "I know the place" with "I know how to photograph the place"
3. Subject is king: pick your subjects wisely
4. Light is king's sister: follow the light. Where there light creates drama you should photograph
5. Mistakes and fails will be many. Analyze, learn, remember and then move on
6. Always be open to learn something new. Learning photography is finished at the end of your life ... and even that will not mean you know everything
7. Haters will come ... ignore them

If your shooting in hard light black and white is your best friend.
If you can't get the big landscape image then look for a small interesting feature.

It seems number seven would apply to whatever level you are at. When you are a beginner,  people will judge you negatively, and when you become more advanced,  people will be jealous and still judge you.I also fall into the trap of wanting to buy new gear thinking it will make my pictures better. But I am slowly realizing that is not the case.

Number seven: Yes, it is simple. But it's not always easy! It can be difficult need to develop that inner voice that shouts, "Don't do it!" whenever you're about to reply to a hateful comment. Eventually it gets easier!
