Josh, my husband and I are music ministers. I play 12 string guitar and he plays bass. I found your music video about 3 weeks ago, I think, and I have been using it in the mornings for my worship time. It helps to calm my busy morning down and help me to be reflective on the Lord and not the insanity of the world around us. It also has inspired me to play some of these songs for church and I have. So, your video has also become a kind of a "go to" for me to chose and practice for the worship that I play! I went to your website and I will surely purchase some of your music. So often at church we need instrumental music that is identifiable like before a funeral or before mass. The music needs to be reverent and reflective. Once we purchase your music, we will probably be playing your CD or digital music before the funeral masses or mass until I can learn enough from you to do it myself. Your music is beautiful and I can't tell you how much I have enjoyed it and it has really helped me to enter into worship when I just felt like a desert in my worship time. It reminded me of so many wonderful hymns that have been almost forgotten in my neck of the woods. I play in kind of a reverent folk style and the folks that attend the masses we play really appreciate how we interpret hymns, psalms, and songs. I know they would LOVE it if I could learn to do this from your instruction as your arrangements would be perfect for this setting. Your music is touching so many and it is so wonderful to hear so many of the old hymns and songs that others forget or leave out of their play list. one thing with me, maybe only me I do not know, but music reaches deeper inside me than any other form of communication or teaching. I feel it more at times when I can be numb otherwise. It's beautiful when it's holy music but dangerous when it isn't!
