With all that is going on the world, it's so important that we look at the big picture and see what God has planned. If you haven't placed your faith in Jesus, today is the day of salvation. I was filled with grief and shame until I surrendered to Jesus and gave my life to Him. He forgave me even after all that I did because Jesus paid my debt for me on the cross. You can also be forgiven for even the worst things you have ever done by a loving God. The truth is that God is perfect and holy. That means that He's set apart and has nothing to do with sin. So, since we've sinned, we can't be in His presence unless we are forgiven and made clean. That's why the Gospel is so awesome. It means "good news" because as sinners, we've earned God's judgement, but He had a plan to restore us to be in relationship with Him. Relationship is why He created us. It is truly awesome to discover the love of our Creator and the freedom from shame that God gives us through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ the son of God.
