Additional Tip: To get the exact Transpose Ratio, divide 100 by the speed you increased you audio to
i.e. If I increased my audio by 120%, my transpose ratio would be 100/120 = 0.83

Damn straight to the point. 1mn34 to cover "everything" about it, finally someone who doesn't record himself setting up the project, explaining obvious stuff, etc. THANK YOU

You are a legend. A god amongst men in the editing world. Countless times have you saved me a ton of time and frustration, or shown me a resolution to an issue where I'd have otherwise thought there was no other way.

Thank you from me and everyone else out there that you help.

You are the man, don't ever change.

Thank you, much better than RIght Click Clip > Speed/Duration > Maintain Audio Pitch. Great tip!
Additional tip I'd suggest to all is switching microphone audios to mono so you don't get any stereo funniness or distorty effects when changing pitch

You have a ton of really helpful stuff here. Perhaps - to get more views since YT prioritizes longer videos in the algorithm - you could still do the 1-2 min basic tutorial at the start of the video, but then also apply it to a couple different use cases. This would also give you a chance to incorporate other techniques you've done before and to be able to reference those videos for viewers to watch next (and show how projects could progress through the different Adobe programs).
Anyway, thanks for the content, it's been really helpful for reminding me of some basic things and sharpening my skills since I haven't edited in PP for a couple years.

Love your "straight to the point" tutorials. Using this effect does help maintain the pitch when speeding up a clip. However, when I use it on a "longer" clip (35 sec. in this case) the sound becomes "strange" in lack of better words. Kinda like it's bouncing around from time to time. It's somewhat subtle, but one can definitely hear it. Have you found a way to eliminate that? Or have you never experienced it?

I'm having a strange issue with a few of my clips. Some sound normal while others sound almost echo-y? Any idea how to fix it?
