We bought one of the originals for Mother's Day. Unfortunately, mom was in the hospital on the day, so we brought it to her in a cardboard box with holes in it. She was confused, thought we'd got another dog, then we slapped the box, and the "Meh!" sound made her face light up!

Back in the mid 00's I wanted one of these so bad, but I couldn't because I was a kid with no credit/debit card, and there was no way I could convince my parents to put theirs online. I ended up buying one a decade later, around '16 or so, for like $100 off eBay, because it was something I always wanted to own. Never regretted it. Little man's still chilling on my top shelf. Really cool to see these back again.
