motherboard issue reported only for i5 -hx varient from 2 percentage (those who do not have issue does not complain)useres who played the game with out tweaking inbuilt under volt sw or third party and pushed the system to above the wattage level.If you are not familiar with that go with h or amd varient but good luck with thermal throttling for long gaming session, i am going for hx and l waiting for price at 78k

If u need a gaming PC just save some more money and go for a PC build do not go for gaming laptop it won't last long and it will heat a lot and mainly so many new laptops having motherboard issue like lenovo loq asus tuf etc but if u need a non gaming and portable pc go for a laptop

I wouldn't suggest this laptop to anyone as this particular model has thermal management issues and that will lead to issue with motherboard. this is not a small issue as this can cause your laptop to die. motherboard issue over warranty is still a mess to get replaced. I would suggest either Legion series or Omen if you want a better experience and long term hardware stability

or RTX 2050 is safe for HX12440

Because i readed a YouTube comment :combination of i5 12450HX&RDX 2050 have never faced any motherboard issues.

I think this is ture because the AC Adapter / Power Supply : 135W only... So it means the 2050 consume less power compared to 3050 also heat is less... So this processor can easily handle with 2050
