LOQ 15IRX9 - Type 83DV

After seeing the specs and reviews of budget - performance - build, I pulled the trigger.

Bought early this Feb. in the Philippines. Had it for the whole month. Battery drained to 10% during gaming (low graphical games; project zomboid, valheim, etc) with the charger plugged in on Lenovo Vantage's Performance mode. Getting low battery warning as it constantly ticks to 10% charge.

Called premium customer care, they said battery drain is expected and that replacement of the 170w charger to a 230w charger is an 'upgrade' and I would need to pay for it.

A call I had with an agent before that said that I shouldn't use Performance Mode all together and just use Balanced while gaming.

No where in the product page for the LOQ 15 says that there is an upgrade option for the charger and that battery drain is normal for the laptop's provided features.

Now to use the laptop as intended I need to purchase an 'upgrade'. I'm already regretting my purchase.

Underrated, holy shit! Only 1K is insane. The motherboard issue is saddening though, the intel ones have a motherboard dead issue, mine died but Lenovo support is like ultra fast, replaced my Motherboard in 4 days!

i have one with i7 13 th gen Hx Processor and its a beast! i get about 150 fps on forza 5 with everything set on ultra!

Dont get the intel 13th or 14th gen they have high rates of failure and 12th gen wont bottleneck the gaming experience i ordered this laptop with i5 12th gen and 4050

i'm very illiterate when it comes to all the tech jargon but i'm trying to research for a good longlasting laptop to invest in with a focus on it being able to run newer more demanding games, and the way you explained all the lingo really helps! I'm going to see if I'll be able to afford the Lenovo LOC 15 but i am not too smart to know the difference between an AMD Ryzen 7 processor vs a Intel core i7 one, but hopefully i will understand the more i learn. It's just such a big investment and i want to be able to use it for many years, I'm so scared of making a mistake. Wonderful video, thank you!!

Is it better to get the lenovo loq or the asus tuf a15. Both gave rtx 2050 24gb of ram ryzen 5 7535 for adus and i5 12450 for lenovo?

Most issues i have observed are most likely in India Market Variants of LOQ, and theyre piling up in chats, communities heck even those who havent bought it yet is commenting theyre experiencing the issue😂.

My advice is to underclock both CPU and GPU if you have the 13-14th HX processor
My max temp was only 78ish degrees on heavy load games after underclocking
I saw some benchmark of this Loq that went to 90 degrees and that's a no no
