There is no such thing as "extreme weather" !! There is nothing unusual historically about any weather event if you observe the last 100 - 200 years of recorded events.

He said co2 levels have never been higher. I watched a program a while back saying thst at one point co2 levels were 800ppm which is double of what they say it is today.

US Congress Environmental report states Miami has 3 inch sea level rise, but neglects to say Miami Beach does not. The ground has subsided under Miami where the sea level is measured from. And the rest of the report is how credible?

He comes at the outset with "fact or fiction", and then quickly dismisses all evidence for "fiction" without referring to the overwhelming observed evidence for it?

The first gralph does NOT show the temperatures, it shows the 'temperatute ANOMALY" called temperature change in a resolution ot 2/100 !!! of a degree, impossible to measure with the old thermometers, where the ERROR was ~½ degree Celcius FIVE TIMES HIGHER THAN THE FINE SCALE anotation.
The RED LINE is an indication of the change in THE CHANGE, read the scale anotation!
Draw your own conclusions!
Try yourself with the best mercury thermometer to measure surface temperature, record it and then measure again to get the temperature DIFFERENCE to one hundreth of a degree, circles.
Or difference with respect to what, a declining temperature reference, like after the thirties, where the temperature was extremely high!
Somehow I feel misslead, just my opinion, do your own evaluation! The data are right there!

unbelievable. He shows a temperature graph spanning over the past 150 years. That is classical grooming of statistics. You can see that the temperatures were higher before 1880 where the graph starts. How biased and unscientific can you get?

Personally though, I am extremely pessimistic that we will actually do anything about this. People are just too fucking stupid and shortsighted to actually do anything substantial about these sorts of problems that need big collaborative action to deal with.

@4:55, so why are there similar 30-year warming trends from 1910-1940 and 1970-2000 if man-made CO2 emissions were negligible during the former period?

Any one who understands analytics and graphics must realize that there is no way you can do a serious graphic with all that information. "Average" is the favourite word of this "scientists".

The amount of the fuel burned will depend on the efficiency of the burners, however it's generally accepted that the stochiometric AFR (Air to Fuel Ratio) of diesel engines is around 15, that is for burning 1 unit mass of diesel fuel you need 15 units mass of air. Translated into gallons that means you need about 10, 000 gallons of air to burn 1 gallon of diesel fuel.
