Phil Collins is a living legend. I'm from the UK originally and wish I had got to see him live. What an amazing artist.

Phil always seemed to really appreciate and respect the artists on tour with him. I always got a chuckle at the length of his band introductions. When he would get to Leland, Phil would always say that Lealand was clean-shaven when the introductions started.

Phil’s music was a major part of the soundtrack of my youth.
It saddens me to think the best years are behind us.
I’m just thankful I was born when I was so I able to experience the best music in the history of the world.

Thank you Phil for being part of that !

He's incredibly blessed to have friends like Leland to stand behind him all these years. He's more than deserving to have all the rewards he's received, and loved by so many. You're talent is untouchable.

Love Leland! Phil Collins; what a talented man. It was a true pleasure being able to see him play in the 80s. Been a fan of Genesis as well as his as a solo artist. I'm flabbergasted when I hear kids in their 20s who have never heard of him. He is a music icon!!

The guy wrote his own stuff, toured like a maniac, played an instrument and had a great sense of humour. What else do you want? Phil is a legend

Phil is a true icon, who will only be truly appreciated by the British press after his death. One of the few vocalists with an immediately recognisable and unique voice, his sound epitomized the 80's. And it's good to know he had such great friends in the industry. With such friends, you can walk through walls, even with a droop foot!

I can't put together in words on how much I love Phil Collins. Just his drumming alone in those early Genesis records is unbelievable and when you add everything else he's done it's mind blowing! We (all his fans) know for a fact millions of others feel the same way ❤❤❤ They say the roar of Godzilla is the most recognizable sound in every country around the world ... I believe it's his infamous drum intro to 'In The Air Tonight'

I cried like a baby at the end of Immediate family documentary with you and Phil. I can't explain enough how much all of you have meant to me in my life. The soundtrack of our lives.

What I like best about Phil Collins is that he was a friend to, supporter of, and collaborator with John Martyn, who I imagine most Americans won't have heard of, but who (in my humble opinion) was one of the UK's most creative, unique and innovative musicians. Hugely underrated and nowhere near as famous as he deserves to be.

You can see that Phil was a perfectionist when he's on the drums. Perfect timing and inventive drumming and much sought after sessionist.

Life may have dealt Phil Collins a bad hand, health-wise, but with over 100 million albums sold, his music is here to stay. 🎼🎵🎶🥁🎶🎵🎼
