After 52h of gameplay & finishing the game, I can easily say that Origins is one of my favorites in the series!

If you payed attention to the game the assassin's aren't assassin's yet the game is about how the creed began, and when beyek and aya part ways the both talk about not wanted to kill in public anymore that's why there are no crowds to hide in

When u say it’s lost some of its assassins creed identity such as: blending in crowds and things, i imagine its because the assassin brotherhood hasn’t actually properly began yet. So techniques like that would of came into the assassins arsenal later on into the brotherhood.

Not gonna lie, I really miss Assassin's Creed: Black Flag. I'm a big fan of the originals, but that game was just sooo much fun, it was the perfect pirate game, although it was meant to be an assassin's creed game. I wish they can just make a spinoff that fully commits to a pirate RPG aesthetic with a good story and I'll be in love.

I always really enjoy your videos but i have to say this is my GotY.

•You can pull arrows out of your shield to use for yourself.
•You can put dead bodies laden with poison on the backs of horses and camels and send them into enemy encampments to poison crowds of enemies.
•There is now a loot system based on the rarity and attributes of equipment.
•Items can be broken down into crafting materials.
•Scoping out enemy encampments is now easier than ever with Senu.
•You can seemlessly explore underwater now for new gear or just for the fun of exploring.
•Viewpoints are no longer an actual necessity.
•Animals can be tamed and become allies.
•Even side quests tell their own stories similar to the way The Witcher 3 handled them.
•Everyone in the game practically lives their own lives which opens up numerous options for assassinations.
•The hood can be taken off and put back on.
•You can pass time with the press of a button.
•You can climb anything now so pesky mountains won't get in the way.
•We get to see the beginnings of the brotherhood as we know it.
•Stealth is still incorporating the awesome crouch and behind cover features from Unity and Syndicate but also adding a free aim bow for the first time.
•Senu can be called in to attack or distract which adds another useful and tactical element to scenarios.
•Combat has taken from the much loved styles of the Souls series and The Witcher 3.
•We see the return of tomb raiding and it will be very beneficial for money and equipment.
•Regular enemies will stand back and watch and cheer as you fight their captain single combat.
•Bayek is a well rounded character who is out for blood with an angry vengeance but often shows a lighthearted side as well.
•The formula has been changed dramatically from the previous entries in the series and has moved towards the more popular RPG style of game yet it still keeps important staples of the series.

Never like AC but my wife didn't know that and she bought me this game out of the blue and im 10 hours in and loving it. Finally a good AC game!!

I dont agree that having a negative stance toward the franchise will automatically make u dislike this game. On the contrary i would say that the changes made will appeal to fans of big titles like the witcher 3, horizon zero down and far cry. If u enjoy exploring a large open world with tons of quests and a compelling story then u would enjoy it. I didnt think i would get pulled in but its just a fun game if this is the type of game u enjoy.

ubisoft did their homework and took the best features from the best rpgs over the last few years.

combat - dark souls
quest format/writing - witcher 3
mount mechanics - metal gear solid 5

great game, very impressed.

Never played AC or this one. That said, this does look like a lovingly made game. You don’t just make a world like this without enjoying what you are doing.

Been gaming since 89' so almost 35 years. This was one of the most polished, properly done, high quality games I've ever played. Its just way too seriously well made to be able to find a major flaw, so 9 or even 9.5 out of 10 from me.

5:52 Holy shit they finally added actual physics to the cloth and stuff you climb on. In every other game it's never reacted to you and has been either solid or phases through the character model but here it's pretty cool that you can get covered by a flag or something.

Bonus points if that's a legit way to hide from enemies
